Midori aka Fetish Diva Midori
Author of the book 'The Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage', Midori is an educator and writer on SM, fetish and human sexuality. Midori travels the world presenting to university, undergraduate clubs, SM clubs, and the general public. Raised in a feminist intellectual Tokyo household, she holds a degree in psychology from the U.C. Berkeley. She has written for many publications and books including, 'Readings in Contemporary Sexuality', 'The Beauty of Fetish' and many regular magazine columns. Her work has appeared on HBO BBC, Mademoiselle, Playboy, Der Spiegel, Wired, British Esquire, Vogue, Surface and many more. Among many recognitions, she is also the Pantheon of Leather Woman of the Year 2003 and Member of Mama's Family. She is currently working on three new books, including a collection of her essays and a collection of her erotic science fiction stories. DeLano is dedicated to using his years of experience in the bondage scene to help others enjoy their time in rope more safely and more fully. He has presented on bondage bottoming at Shibaricon in Chicago and at TESFest in New York. He is also assisting Midori in many of her Rope Dojo bondage intensive weekends, presented around the country - bringing the "bottom's point of view" on various aspects of scene dynamics and psychology. He has presented with Michele Serchuk for Sexy Spirits in New York, on their photographic collaborations on bondage imagery. DeLano co-moderates the Japanese RopeArt and the Shibari Enthusiasts Yahoo groups. The former is a group specifically set up for rope bondage bottoms to share experiences with, and get advice and encouragement from, other rope bottoms. DeLano is a member of the leather family, Sovereign House, and a member of The Eulenspiegal Society in New York.
DeLano's love affair with bondage began at a very early age (you wouldn't believe what his "action figures" had to endure when he was a kid) but he only consummated that affair eight years ago. He began modeling for several New York fetish tabloids and quickly moved to performing in the New York fetish club scene, launching his first bondage Website and eventually moved on to teaching. A true rope slut, DeLano is always ravenous for bondage. Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a couple of medium to large sized towels and
lots of rope. More and varied the merrier. If you don't have rope, Midori
will have some nice rope for sale at a very reasonable price.
